"Every Time You Think You Weaken the Nation"

Can you guess the meaning of this picture? A bit of a hint: the lunch meat is actually bologna, though it doesn't look like what you usually see sold in grocery stores as bologna. That stuff is more of a grayish mush of suspicious content, while this is fresh-made by a small-town butcher. We may not know what mystery meats may be in the other kind, but just remember: "...the secret things belong to the LORD" (Deut. 29:29).

Okay, here's another hint. It has something to do with the Three Stooges. Peter, Gabe, Duncan, and Dad were headed to a Three Stooges film festival this past Thursday in Coventry Village, complete with pie fight at the end. Hence, the original reason for purchasing this cheap imitation whipped cream chemical composite--we were arming ourselves for battle.

Alas, thunder, rain and wet grounds stalled the staged Stooge event and it has been rescheduled for Aug. 18. Stay tuned for updates on this important opportunity to bond with like-minded, er, lamebrains.

If you can guess the answer, leave a comment! Also, if you have a favorite Stooges quote, share it with us. This one happens to be one of my father's favorites. I'm not sure I have one in particular; there are so many. Pure art. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk...
