As Spring approached this year, we rushed into what we call the birthday season. In our family, all the birthdays are grouped together over the Spring, Summer, and Autumn. Chloe starts it off on April 27th, and Olivia wraps it up on October 3rd. The only month we do not have birthdays in over this period is May... That is our short break. ;) So far we've passed two birthdays: Chloe turned 19 on said date, and Gabriel turned 14 on June 2nd. :)
Except, this picture is terribly outdated since Chloe has had a few changes....
Yes, Chloe has short hair now... And she looks quite lovely too. :DThe parents of these two wonderful children - we are eternally thankful for the hard work and strenuous labor that was put in to training us up as warriors for Christ. We are thankful that God moved them to decide to homeschool us, and for the patience, love, and endurance that came with it. Thank you mom and dad, and we love you!The birthday boy! :)His favorite birthday cake: Frozen Alaska. It was made with black raspberry chip ice cream with coffee ice cream, rich chocolate cake, and covered with whipped cream, topped with a chocolate cookie, and 60% dark chocolate shavings. Now that is quite a cake! (Compliments go to Chloe :D.)As each child turns another year, more responsibilities and more tasks are given to them. The expectations grow higher. With each year comes another dose of wisdom and maturity. The only reason that this can be said, for our family at least, is because our parents have trained us up according to the Scriptures, and we have been taught to seek wisdom, because it is more precious than jewels. And surely, if one truly desires wisdom in their heart, and if they fervently seek after it, they shall attain it. We pray that this will be so for each sibling in this family.
Happy Birthday y'all! :D
